Forged in the hellish fire that is Northern New Jersey, The Congregation emerges with a style of blues that is hard-hitting and heartfelt. Fueled by musical and emotional juxtaposition, The Congregation plays an energetic blend of original songs and old favorites with a decidedly postmodern edge.

Influenced by a diversity of style, The Congregation's music reflects the pan-cultural aesthetic that is Essex, Bergen, Union, Passaic, and Morris counties. Jazz, rock, soul, and cowboy themes interweave with complex melodies, biting rhythms, and the distinctive flavor of pine trees and exhaust fumes which lurks just beneath the surface.
