On Thursday, April 12th, The Congregation will perform at the debut of "The Revival" - A Singer/Songwriter's Showcase to be held monthly at the Boonton Avenue Grille - 108 Boonton Avenue, Boonton NJ.

The Revival will be held also on Thursday, May 10th and on Thursday, June 14th.

On Friday, March 9th, The Congregation recorded a live, acoustic, "in-studio" performance of 3 songs, featuring Evil Dick on vocals and Charles T. Wegman on acoustic guitar, for the "American Roots Live" Cable Television show.

The Congregation has announced that they have signed with online music delivery service SNOCAP as their primary online music distributor.

SNOCAP is the official online music service for MySpace and provides a much needed alternative to the other online music stores.

With streaming audio, pictures and places for commenting it offers fans a very user friendly atmosphere where they can get information as well as easily contact the band. In Summer, 2006, The Congregation, will release its yet untitled sophomore CD. Included will be songs from the self-titled six-track CD single The Congregation.

The first single to be released from the Summer release will be the future classic Just Fallin. Written by lead singer Evil Dick, Just Fallin transcends folk and celtic roots with bitter irony and a truly haunting melody. This song is one of The Congregation's most popular works to date!  Gurl and Dead Cat Boogie are also catching the attention of the recording industry and fan favorite Boonton delivers The Congregation's own unique blues style with a vengeance!

The Congregation first gained fame when in 2000 they headlined at The Rampage On The River, a Three Day Open Air Festival in upstate New York. Led by frontman Evil Dick, who had been previously trapped behind a drum kit, the band has relentlessly toured the New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania Tri-State area to rave reviews from audiences and club owners everywhere they have performed.
